Everest View Trek – 7 Days Short Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Day 02: Kathmandu – Fly to Lukla (2,840 m) – Trek to Phakding (2,610 m, approximately 8 km, 3 hours walking).
Day 03: Phakding – Monjo – Namche Bazaar (3,440 m, approximately 11 km, 5–6 hours walking).
Day 04: Namche Bazaar – Everest View Hotel – Khumjung Village – Return to Namche Bazaar.
Day 05: Namche Bazaar – Trek to Lukla (2,840 m, approximately 19 km, 6–7 hours walking).
Day 06: Lukla – Fly to Kathmandu.
Day 07: Final Departure from Kathmandu.
Note: Depending on the season and flight operations, most flights to Lukla may operate from Ramechhap Airport during peak trekking periods instead of Kathmandu. If required, we will arrange ground transportation between Kathmandu and Ramechhap Airport.

Accommodation & Food
The Everest View Trek package includes two nights’ accommodation in a Kathmandu hotel in a twin-sharing room with breakfast. During the trek, you will stay in comfortable mountain lodges and traditional teahouses along the Everest trekking route, where you can relax and experience the warm hospitality of the Himalayan region. Room facilities and heating availability vary between lodges.
Full-board meals are included throughout the trek, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. At each meal, you can choose one main course from the à la carte menu, accompanied by one cup of tea or coffee. A wide variety of Nepali, continental, Western, and other international dishes is available to suit different tastes.
Seasonal fresh fruit is served every evening after dinner during the trek, providing a refreshing end to each day in the mountains.
Difficulty & Altitude
The Everest View Trek is generally considered an easy-to-moderate trek and is suitable for travelers with reasonable fitness who can comfortably walk for several hours a day. The route includes gradual ascents, stone steps, uneven trails, and some steeper sections, particularly on the approach to Namche Bazaar.
Although the trek does not reach Everest Base Camp, it involves sleeping and walking at significant altitude. The excursion to Everest View Hotel reaches approximately 3,880 m, so gradual acclimatization, a comfortable walking pace, adequate hydration, and attention to symptoms of altitude sickness are important. Previous trekking experience is helpful but not essential.
Best Time to Trek
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are generally the best seasons for the Everest View Trek. Spring brings milder temperatures, blooming rhododendrons at lower elevations, and excellent opportunities for mountain views. Autumn often offers clear skies, pleasant trekking conditions, and good visibility after the monsoon.
Winter trekking is also possible for well-prepared travelers, although temperatures can be very cold and snowfall may affect trails or flights. During the monsoon season, rain, clouds, and flight disruptions can occur. Mountain views and flight operations are always weather-dependent.
Transportation to the Everest View Trek
The journey begins with a domestic flight to Lukla, the main gateway to the Everest region. Depending on the season and airline operations, flights may depart from Kathmandu or Ramechhap Airport. When departure from Ramechhap is required, additional road transportation must be arranged.
